A quiet weather week is expected for the Kansas City metro area. Low temperatures will drop in the mid-60s tonight.

On Tuesday, there will be more clouds as high temperatures look to reach the upper 80s.

A few storms are possible early Wednesday. When those clear, high temperatures will again be between the mid-to-high 80s.

Another warm up is on the way for the metro, however.

Temperatures this weekend look to reach the 90s.

Hot and humid conditions will linger into the start of September.
