KANSAS CITY, Mo. —

There's been lots of discussion about the Chiefs' two first-round draft picks in 2026 so far in training camp and the preseason.

Last Saturday, a former first-round pick stole the show.

Lee's Summit native Felix Anudike-Uzomah had a sack and multiple quarterback pressures in last weekend's game against Tampa Bay.

Anudike-Uzomah has battled injuries throughout his Chiefs career.

He's had a productive training camp and may have been the defensive MVP of the game.

“I thought Felix had a really good game,” Spagnuolo said. “I think he settled in. I think he feels more comfortable.”

The Chiefs know what Chris Jones and George Karlaftis can provide.

If Anudike-Uzomah and the rookie class come to form, it could turn one of last year's thinnest positions on paper to one of the team's biggest advantages in 2026.
