In a post on social media, Kehlani wrote that she would cancel two shows — one in Camden, New Jersey, and the other in Columbia, Maryland — on Aug. 26 and 27, respectively.
The artist, who is most known for her recent hit "Folded," wrote that she had "been up all night unable to swallow and in so much pain."
"I just left the hospital and am not cleared to sing for the next two shows," her post said.

Kehlani told fans she would return to the stage for a show in Richmond, Virginia, on Saturday.
"Breaks my heart to have to ever do this," her post says. "I do everything I'm supposed to to ensure my health stays up to par and it still isn't guaranteed."
Kehlani's shows in New Jersey and Maryland were rescheduled for Sept. 5 and 6, respectively.
