The Chiefs and Seahawks were both looking to win their first preseason game on Friday.

Neither did.

The teams finished tied at 9-9 after a late missed field goal by Seattle.

Chiefs rookie quarterback Garrett Nussmeier played the entire game, finishing 22-of-34 with 198 yards and one interception.

Kansas City moved the ball throughout the night, finishing with 353 yards.

However, they were 0-for-3 in the red zone.

Brashard Smith had nearly 130 total yards in the game, including a 57-yard kickoff return.

Wide receiver Andrew Armstrong led the Chiefs with 54 yards on five receptions.

Seahawks quarterback Jalen Milroe's touchdown pass to Nick Vannett was the lone touchdown of the game.
